"hospitality" paints a picture of the horror and hypocrisy of gun-rights. It refers to the irony of having to protect hospitalized patients, some of whom were injured by guns, from guns. Gun violence, an ever-present topic of conversation, has only become a more and more pressing issue in America, and I wanted this painting to bring awareness to it.
